Ilustrar este livro foi um desafio profundo para mim, especialmente após tantos anos de desconfiança em minhas próprias habilidades como ilustrador. A oportunidade de trabalhar em um livro infantil que narra a tocante história de uma mãe e sua filha me emocionou profundamente. As cores utilizadas nas ilustrações refletem tudo o que estava adormecido dentro de mim. Assim como Biga, estive perdido por muito tempo. Este livro me ajudou a redescobrir meu lado mais colorido e alegre. Sou imensamente grato a Keli Anjos, autora do livro, por me conceder liberdade criativa e permitir que eu desenhasse os personagens à minha maneira. Minhas inspirações variaram de Pokémon a Ponyo (Studio Ghibli).
Illustrating this book was a profound challenge for me, especially after so many years of doubting my own abilities as an illustrator. The opportunity to work on a children's book that tells the touching story of a mother and her daughter moved me deeply. The colors used in the illustrations reflect everything that had been dormant within me. Like Biga, I had been lost for a long time. This book helped me rediscover my more colorful and joyful side. I am immensely grateful to Keli Anjos, the author of the book, for granting me creative freedom and allowing me to draw the characters in my own way. My inspirations ranged from Pokémon to Ponyo (Studio Ghibli).
